We have been informed that the CDE has released information on an updated format for the CASEMIS Table A data. We are working on an update to account for the data file changes.

In the meantime, you can still use this tool to verify your data in the current Table A format.

In October 2016, the California Department of Education (CDE) announced the transition of the California Special Education Management Information System (CASEMIS) data collection into the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS).

The communication sent to County and District Superintendents included a high level timeline with transition test phase beginning in the 2018-19 school year and full implementation in 2019-20.
